“When our team gets together to choose the TIME100, we have one barometer: influence… [it’s] about honoring superheroes across every field. People who are blasting through closed doors and holding them open for others.”
TIME Executive Chairman and Contributing Editor
Each year, TIME selects the 100 most influential people in the world, celebrating the artists, innovators, titans, leaders, icons and pioneers whose contributions are changing the world today.
Generating 6.2B+ media impressions globally in 2022, the TIME100 is widely recognized as the standard for global influence with its highly anticipated list reveal — featuring exclusive interviews and contributions from the world’s most influential people as recognized by their peers.
This multi-platform experience culminates on April 25th & 26th with the TIME100 Summit Featuring TIME CO2 and the Gala taking place at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City.

The TIME100 kicks off around the globe in April with the multi-platform release of our annual list of the world’s most influential people.
Featuring the 2023 honoree list categorized by each of the pillars, an engaging digital hub plays host to special TIME100 content, exclusive portrait videos and interviews as well as pieces by notable contributors who honor the individuals selected.
Past writers for this franchise include Joe Biden, Tom Brady, Al Gore, Jack Harlow, LeBron James, Mindy Kaling, Nas, Michelle Obama, Martin Scorsese, Dwyane Wade, Reese Witherspoon, and Bowen Yang.
A TIME100 special print issue with multiple cover reveals by pillar featuring all of the honorees is sent to subscribers and newsstands.
TIME will once again unite the TIME100 community with a full day TIME100 Summit Featuring TIME CO2 the day before the TIME100 Gala.
We’ll bring together a select group of TIME100 honorees — both past and present — for topical discussions anchored to the broad themes of leadership, impact and innovation with an increased focus on sustainability via one-on-one conversations, TIME CO2 panels, and keynotes for an audience of influential attendees.
Speakers of the 2022 Summit included Tyra Banks, Jon Batiste, Tim Cook, Bill Gates, Eileen Gu, John Kerry, Mia Amor Mottley, Amber Ruffin, Christian Siriano, Taika Waititi, and more.
Timing/Venue: April 25, 2023, Jazz at Lincoln Center, New York City
The day following the TIME100 Summit Featuring TIME CO2, TIME will host our exclusive in-person Gala to celebrate 2023’s class of influential leaders.

Guests arrive to an intimate cocktail reception which leads to a seated dinner and program that includes toasts, speeches and special musical performances by select TIME100 honorees.
Past notable attendees include Mary J. Blige, Ariana DeBose, Andrew Garfield, Bill Gates, Dwayne Johnson, Simu Liu, Ryan Murphy, Martha Stewart, Dwyane Wade, Maria Ressa, Zendaya and many more.
